Girl Group: Little Mix

You might have recently heard the song 'Secret Love Song'. At first I thought it was just another pop song sang by Jason Derulo - or does he sing R&B? - and I didn't even knew that it was a duet. Honestly I was just told about it, I haven't even heard it on the radio neither did I watch it on YouTube - I didn't care about some cheesy love song. But then it became a talk of the town here - at least on our place - and I saw a girl on a viral video singing it. Just by hearing the first line, it got me hooked to the song already and by hooked I mean I am listening to it on YouTube on repeat (listenonrepeat.com). Not that I'm already a fan of Jason Derulo nor Little Mix in the first place but this specific song got me really interested about this British Girl group - yeah let's veer away from Jason for now.

Yes, because of my fascination to them I've written this blog - please refer to the title and the featured image if you still aren't sure. I became a fan of Jade, Leigh Anne, Jessy and Perrie over night after hearing the song 'Secret Love Song'. Most of you might have heard many of their other singles - Black Magic, Love Me Like You, Salute, Hair, just to name a few -  but 'Secret Love Song' made me realize that a girl group like Little Mix deserves a to be on top. They are not just a bunch of pretty girls who can sing and dance but they are indeed power house performers because they don't just sing songs, they connect to their listeners and they could make us want to hear more and their voices are just amazing (understatement).

Girl groups are known to be having just one soloist who has the best singing voice and the others will pretty much sing in back-up but that concept is not known to exist on this group. All of them can sing impressively and their songs are commonly divided for each of them to have their own parts and no one outshines the other because the four of them shine's equally on each piece as demonstrated on the video below.

Quality Voices

They have these unique voices that is distinct to them, a signature tone - I am not a music expert nor a person who can sing in tune so I can't tell what they call that exactly. It really sounds so good that me as a none singer would even dream of having but probably not for now, I'll just settle on lip syncing them and not letting my own voice come out because I'm sure it will wake my neighbors and they would start to mob me.

I do not know how they do that but every time I listen to them without watching, I can't tell who is singing which part. They have the same yet distinct voices. I'm not sure if that makes sense to you but that is what I've observed. Maybe it's just a newbie fan thing that I can't differentiate their voices because I haven't heard them that many times yet. But I'm pretty sure an average of 30 repeats per day will do the trick - nope, I never get tired of the song nor any of their songs for that matter.

Well anyways, I probably should start with this video to and try to get to know those voices better. You too should do the same and what ever your thoughts are just comment them down below and let's discuss about these amazing and talented performers. Also don't forget to like and share.

How Is It Like To Be Really Broke

First, this is not a blog about love nor the 'Ways To Mend a Broken Heart'. My God people! Not everyone has a love life or ever had one - yeah guilty. And this is not about me not ever having a relationship, so don't ask anything even closely related to that or I'll punch you in the esophagus (if I spelled it right).

Now, how is it really like to be really broke? At this point the best person to ask is my neighbor, duh of course me! Since I am as broke as students were during summer. As broke as a contractual employee after one month of being laid off and still hasn't find a new job. As broke as a social climber who had a credit card and decided to have a shopping spree and then at the end of the month nagged his wife about their credit card bill being that high. Yes, I am that broke but no I'm not one of those stupid social climbers who spent their credit limits and also became broke after they had their bill, [whisper] but they leave next doors in the old house - I'm such a gossip-monger.

Chai Romruen and James Reid: Versions of Each Other

Many of you are probably fans of Fil-Aussie James Reid. He emerged to ultimate stardom not only here in PH but also all over the world - for he and his Reel to Real life love Nadine Lustre will soon be featured in [ehem] Teen Vogue (see the Instagram post here...) - after the success of their first and launching movie Diary ng Panget - and I am pretty sure that everyone knows what that is. Then we have OTWOL, their series of sold out concerts here and across the globe and the book, yes the book #TeamReal. It is a compilation of stories, events, moments and OJD put into words by a talented and fierce writer Irish Dizon [please notice me, I'm a fan]. The excitement about what's next for this multi-talented couple just excites everyone not only the JaDines (JaDine fans) [ehem guilty - of course I'm a fan. Why do you think I am writing this? To earn clicks? Well...] but also the Bashers. Yes The Bashers... Bashers, admit it or not  you are actually updating yourselves on what JaDine are up to. You  are even more updated than me and I'm an avid fan. Luh...

Well anyways, I am not writing this blog to talk about the obvious success of this Team up (maybe on my next blog). I am here to discuss about how I find Mako Mermaids actor Chai Romruen and James Reid very much alike - some may react and disagree, but hey this is my blog, I can say whatever I please. So scram.

Back to Chai and James. Same with James, Chai is also part Aussie. His Father is Thai and his Mother is Australian. He might be mistaken with a Filipino blood because of how he looks but there is no denying that his Aussie mix gives him that distinct look that girls will surely drool over [ehem, again].
